This One’s in the Books! SmartTouch® Reflects on Success at the 2024 NAHB International Builders’ Show®
Twenty twenty‑four marks the 12th year for SmartTouch® Interactive participating in the NAHB International Builders’ Show and our 8th consecutive year speaking at this annual gathering of residential construction professionals which took place in Las Vegas, NV February 27th – 29th. It was a jam‑packed week and an amazing experience for our entire team!
Day 1
Day 1 was a busy one for our SmartTouch® team! It all started out with registration and watching David Miles of Milesbrand presenting 15 Strategies in Digital Marketing. An added treat for the day was getting to see Chuck Todd of Meet the Press speaking on today’s politics, election season, and the impact all of this will have on the housing market.
Our own Eric Shattuck presented not one, but TWO sessions on 𝟓 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 & 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 with Erika Ramon (Crown Community Development), Matt Brutsche, MBA (500 Rockets Marketing), and Lianne McOuat (McOuat Partnership). This was THE hottest topic of the show this year and such a popular session that an ENCORE had to be added. The expert panel took a deep dive into the AI and ChatGPT craze, exploring the myths around AI replacing sales and marketing jobs and how home builder marketers have used it over the past year. Attendees had an opportunity to grab our SmartTouch® A.I. Prompt Guide – CREATE Framework and to learn what’s worked well, what’s a disappointment and the five best practices home builder marketers should implement to leverage the power of AI/ChatGTP to stay ahead.
As the sun set on the Las Vegas Strip, glitter and glam were in full view at the main event, The Nationals Awards where friends and colleagues had a chance to meet up and honor the best in the building industry for their determination, integrity, creativity and endurance. SmartTouch® Interactive proudly celebrated FOUR NAHB Silver Awards for our work with Amblebrook Gettysburg and Pomona by Hillwood. While the gold SAM eluded us this year, spending time with clients and industry partners proved to be priceless.
Day 2
Day 2 kicked off with Robert Cowes, Sara Carbonell and Alison Douglass Hoffmann presenting 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝟓+ 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 in the morning to a packed room in the 55+ Housing Central. Afterwards our team put some mileage on their sneakers as they walked the show floor to check out all of the amazing exhibits, and spent time hanging out with some friends and colleagues like Natalie Roberts from Social Strategies ATX and Mitch Schwartz, Owner of Schwartz Custom Homes to talk shop and swap stories about their experiences at this year’s show. What a busy and eventful day before finally enjoying a bit of RnR to cap off the week before heading home.
