Held at 823 Congress in downtown Austin, the event brings together developers, investors, architects, brokers and other commercial real estate leaders to examine the forces shaping Austin’s next generation of office and mixed‑use development. The program begins at 8:00 a.m. CT and includes a keynote conversation with Austin Mayor Kirk Watson as well as discussions covering Austin’s office development pipeline, changing tenant expectations, AI’s impact on demand and the continued evolution of mixed‑use development.

From 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. CT, SmartTouch® COO Aaron Ficher will moderate Turning Office into Community: The Shift to Mixed‑Use Development and Integrated Live Work Play Environments.
The conversation will focus on a fundamental shift in commercial real estate: successful developments are increasingly being envisioned as more than places to work. Developers are bringing together office, multifamily, retail, dining, amenities and public spaces to create destinations where people can live, work, gather and play.
